GAME FORMAT
The format of Regency LRP online is experimental and unusual, but it allows participation without travel or costume expense. Activities are based around submission of videos by players, interaction on text channels controlled by game organisers, and participation in conference calls for 'live' experiences of social gatherings such as parties and family meetings.
Technologies likely to be used; Facebook groups, Google documents, Whatsapp, Discord, Zoom

Video Introductions
Once you have agreed to participate in a game and chosen or been allocated a character, it's time to record your video introduction! This is your character's public presentation to society, and may be in response to a series of questions or requests from a host of a social event.
So feel free to dress up and put your best foot forward! After all, first impressions can be important.
Note: these introductions are in-character, so it's appropriate to be selective about what you allow to be known, or even to be creative with the truth.
Video introductions should be no more than three minutes long, and submitted by email by the game deadline to regencylrp@gmail.com. Video may also be used to submit business or marriage proposals, if players wish to do so.
Announcements and Chatter
Games will include structured release of information (Announcements) as well as spaces for voice and video-based interaction (chatter). Formal announcements will be controlled by game organisers and will be released between social activities such as parties. These announcements will resemble information provided in public newspapers, such as notice of deaths or engagements, sale of property or similar items. Text spaces such as the announcements in character discord channel will also complement videoconference activities due to the limitations of simultaneous activity in videoconference.
Parties and family meetings
Live activities such as balls, card parties, family meetings and other social events will take place by videoconference. While you can dress up for these activities if you wish, there is no requirement to do so - unlike the video submissions there won't be as much opportunity to be seen!
