ABOUT
Inspired by the Regency period setting of Jane Austen’s novels and later additions and adaptations, Regency LARP online aims to immerse players in the personal values, politics, family feuds and everyday social conflicts of the early nineteenth century (as expressed in the aristocratic circles of England during the Regency period).
This is something of an experiment, trying to develop a way of playing LARP when we cannot physically share a space. This game will aspire to do more than tabletop RPGs via conference calls by using video recordings and a structured format. In order to take part, players and crew will need access to a smartphone or laptop with webcam capabilities. Costume is not essential! However if you have a hat, bonnet, ringlets or a cravat to show off you are greatly encouraged to do so.
